How to Request Samples Professionally
The fastest way to get useful samples is to specify the application, conditions, and success criteria—so suppliers don’t guess your grade.

What to include
- Application: where it will be used (cleaning, water treatment, additives, coatings).
- Operating window: temperature, pH, concentration, contact time, water hardness, etc.
- Materials: metals/plastics/elastomers in contact.
- Constraints: low odor, low foam, chloride limits, food-contact restrictions, etc.
- Success criteria: measurable pass/fail outcomes.
- Sample size: how much you need and the packaging (bottle, jerrycan, pail).
